The Orphanage
Hey there,
Yesterday we went to the orphanage and played with the toddlers for a couple hours and then when the school aged children came home from school we did a little program with all our funny skits and a little Bible story and a song. It was a really fun time. Then the kids sang us a song. It was beautiful. I got to hold an 8 week old baby which was I loved. The kids were all so cute. It's so sad that more people aren't adopting these children. They are all so special. I had posted pictures, but then found out we are not allowed to do that (of course!).

it looks like you are having alot of fun on your trip! I have really enjoyed looking at your blog.
In response to your comment There are actually alot of people who I know who are currently in the process of adopting. It a very expensive and lengthy process. There's alot of people who want to adopt it just takes a long time.
I should explain my comment about more people should adopt these children. The reason I said that is because the Sister who works there said that people from this country are adopting children from other countries rather than there. I realize it takes a long time, but once the child reaches 2 years old it is almost impossible for them to be adopted. This orphanage had 40 school aged kids and 17 toddlers in it.
